The Non-Dual Heart of Zen

with Guest Teacher Caverly Morgan

April 30th, 2018, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Zen master Bankei spoke about ‘the unborn' —the non-dual heart of Zen.

In practice, we often feel like we need to do more, have more, be more.

What shifts in practice when you recognize yourself as the unborn? What changes when you no longer define yourself as the seeker? And how does that recognition manifest in our conditioned bill-paying, subway riding, clocking in for work, world?

Join us as we explore these questions. Join us as we rest in presence, as presence, together.

About the teacher:

Caverly Morgan is the Founder and Executive Director of Presence Collective, dedicated to personal transformation and collective awakening. She is also the Founder of Peace in Schools, the first non-profit to create for-credit mindfulness class in public high schools. Caverly has been practicing Zen since 1995, has lived monastically, and now leads retreats, workshops, and online classes.
