Mindful of Race: Transforming Racism from the Inside Out

Book Talk and Signing with Ruth King

Monday, May 21, 2018, 6:30pm-8:00pm

Racism remains one of the most rooted and painful impasses of our time. Why is this so? What does this have to do with me? In her talk, Ruth will explore an understanding of our individual and collective racial conditioning and its social proliferation, and how mindfulness provides a foundation for inner confidence, stability, and courage that fosters wise care and reconciliation.

Please be aware that meditation will be in process from 6:00-6:30pm before this event. You are welcome to join! If you do not wish to participate, please be respectful of the silence as you enter the space. Thank you!
