Living Fearlessly: Facing the Inevitable
An Online Offering

with Sensei Chodo and Barbara Doshin Ende

Tuesdays, September 1st, 2020 through October 27th, 2020 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Eastern Time, online via Zoom

We are living in a time of uncertainty and fear. Each day brings a new reality that previously seemed impossible. The usual patterns and habits that brought us comfort have been, as if without fair warning, stripped away. We are faced with the starkly disconcerting reality of impermanence. This kind of adversity can lead to a radical shift in one’s perspective of what matters most.

Living Fearlessly is a nine-week workshop that investigates how we can prepare for the inevitable. The Buddha taught that old age, illness and death are inescapable. Drawing on the expertise of Sensei Robert Chodo Campbell and Barbara Doshin Ende, you will explore the inescapable through poetry, journaling, experiential exercises, and practical tools such as completing advance directives and healthcare proxy. Together we will have some fun planning our own memorial and writing our obituary. Join us on this journey of discovery
