Over the past decade of engagement in healthcare environments, we have witnessed an acute need for an approach to care that extends beyond the patient and their loved ones to include the clinicians themselves.

Too often, clinicians experience burn-out, a sense of isolation, and loss of meaning in their work and lives. Now more than ever, there is a critical need for deeper connections with patients, team members, and loved ones in this time of pandemic.

To address this growing need, New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care has developed a new year-long Contemplative Medicine Fellowship, an innovative training for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who want to transform their role as clinicians and lead change in the culture of care.

Join us for a free online event with Fellowship guiding teachers Sensei Koshin Paley Ellison, Sensei Chodo Robert Campbell, and Tieraona Low Dog, MD an internationally recognized physician, author, educator and thought leader in integrative medicine, as they discuss the birth of the new Contemplative Medicine Fellowship and how contemplative practice can be a powerful instrument of healing.

This year’s inaugural Fellowship is currently only open to physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, but this webinar will be engaging and appropriate for other health care professionals wishing to explore a contemplative approach to care—all are welcome!
